Today my weapon of choice, so to speak is a classic. A Leica iiif I only acquired weeks ago. No stranger to rangefinders like many others I started with a SLR, a Minolta XGM in my case back in '98. Film back then was a pricey luxury for a carpenter. No less costly today I rely on my supply of frozen film in my freezer. Most out of date and discontinued stock purchased in discount shops after the digital revolution changed photography profoundly. These past ten odd years have seen me using rangefinders of many kinds but mostle the large Canon P, and their ink.Time will tell but the tank-like Canons are all working as I found them. Based solely on past readings it seems CLA may be in the cards for my Leica iiif but for now all seems well. Disabled and retired now I travel much less ( my supply of film is lasting even longer) but try to make each shot count.
