First roll through my "new" Leica CL, the rangefinder needed a bit of adjustment.

I believe this image is a nice showcase of the colors this film renders. On an Olympus XA2

I originally mistakenly posted these in the Portra 400 sub-forum, so I deleted that post and switched them over here. These were from the first roll I shot in my recently acquire Rollei 35. A pleasing little camera, that I'm just discovering at the tender age of 58.

Great shots! I had one of these for a little while. Lens is super sharp and really quiet if I remember correctly. I spy a light leak though ;)

Fine images Joe, I have to say, a little colourful for my taste though. I tend to prefer the slightly more subdued tones of, say Kodachrome ll.

Just got my scans back from the developers (finally). Fuji Superia X-TRA 400 in a Minox 35EL. They all needed some tweaking in Lightroom - more contrast, crunching of highlights and shadows - but these turned out nicely. Interestingly when I shot this film in a Rollei XF35 I complained about too much contrast. Actually I think those were all just underexposed as the lightmeter over-read with a higher voltage battery. However these scans have been much more malleable. NB the scale focussing in the Minox is ok when you can use f8 or above, then it's hard to miss focus :) Otherwise at shorter distances it's a bit of a pig.

Apologies if some of the subject matter is familiar. My first roll turned out not to have wound on properly, and that would have had some interesting stuff on it. I blasted through this one in 2 or 3 days.

A nice set of images Martin. I'm trying to be patient myself. I've grown too comfortable with the instant gratification provided by my digital cameras :)
